Editorial Policies

➔ Commitment to Integrity

Current Research Bulletin (CRB) upholds the highest standards of research and publishing ethics. All authors, editors, and reviewers are expected to adhere to best practices throughout the research, submission, review, and publication process.

➔ Disappearing Authors

If an author disappears after submitting an article and fails to respond to multiple attempts at contact, CRB reserves the right to:
• Proceed with publication or reject the article.
• Retract the published article if an author sends an apology post‑publication.
• Treat any lack of response as a vanished submission, issuing a formal notice if needed.

➔ Redundant or Duplicate Publication

CRB does not accept or publish articles that overlap substantially with work already published, in press, or under review elsewhere.
• Submitting the same or highly similar work to multiple journals is a serious breach of ethics and will lead to immediate rejection.
• All submissions must be original and unpublished.
• If a figure or material has been used elsewhere, permission from the original copyright holder must be submitted.

⚑ Refer to the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) recommendations for further guidance: www.icmje.org

➔ Conflicts of Interest

All authors must disclose any competing financial interests related to their work, including collaborations, funding, or other potential influences that could affect the results or conclusions. These declarations must be clearly stated in the submitted manuscript and published upon acceptance.

➔ Permissions for Previously Published Material

To reproduce material published elsewhere, authors must obtain and provide written permission from the original copyright holder. CRB will only accept such content if permission is granted.

➔ Withdrawal of Articles

Articles may be withdrawn if technical or ethical inconsistencies are detected, including:
• Multiple submissions of the same data
• Plagiarism or data manipulation
• Deceitful authorship claims
In such cases, the article will be removed from the site and replaced with a formal withdrawal notice.

➔ Retraction of Published Articles

Articles may be retracted upon notice from authors, institutions, or the journal if any of the following apply:
• Ethical infringements
• Falsified or manipulated data
• Duplicate submissions
• Plagiarism or authorship irregularities

Retraction will be announced with a formal notice signed by the relevant parties and published within a subsequent journal issue.

➔ Patient Consent Forms

For studies involving patient data, authors must obtain and preserve informed patient consent forms clearly stating permission for publication. If a patient is identifiable within the article, this consent must be mentioned in the Methods section. The editors may request a copy of these consent forms when required.

➔ Ethics Committee Approval

All studies involving human or animal subjects must include an ethics statement in the Methods section. This must contain:
• The name and address of the ethics committee
• The protocol number and date of approval
• A statement verifying the informed consent of participants (in the case of human studies)
• An animal care statement for studies involving animals (according to ARRIVE guidelines)

If formal ethics clearance was not required, or if any deviation from standard protocols occurred, authors must clearly justify this within the manuscript. The editors reserve the right to request supporting documents at any point.
