Authorship and Contributions
➔ Our Commitment
At Current Research Bulletin (CRB), we champion innovative, multidisciplinary research to advance global knowledge. We are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of integrity, ensuring that every publication clearly reflects its authors’ and contributors’ efforts.
➔ Authorship Eligibility
Authorship is reserved for individuals who have made a significant contribution to a work. To qualify as an author, one must have:
• Contributed substantially to the conception, design, data collection, or analysis of the study.
• Participated in drafting or critically revising the manuscript for intellectual content and rigor.
• Reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript prior to submission.
• Accepted accountability for the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of the work.
➔ Recognizing Contributors
Individuals supporting the research but not meeting authorship criteria should be acknowledged. These contributions may include:
• Technical or logistical support
• Administrative or supervisory oversight
• Assistance with data collection or funding
These roles are to be clearly stated in the Acknowledgements section of the manuscript.
➔ Corresponding Author Role
The corresponding author acts as the primary point of contact for the publication. Their responsibilities include:
• Verifying that all listed authors have met CRB’s authorship criteria.
• Coordinating the submission, review, and publication process with the journal.
• Ensuring the integrity, completeness, and compliance of the submission.
➔ Group Authorship
For multi‑center or collaborative studies, a group may be credited as the author. In such cases, individual contributions must be clearly identified in the manuscript, specifying the roles of group members.
➔ Authorship Changes
Any changes to the authorship list (additions, removals, or reordering) after submission must be supported by:
• Written consent from all authors.
• A clear statement of justification submitted to the Editorial Office.
➔ Authorship Dispute Resolution
CRB follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for resolving authorship disputes. The Editorial Board may request supporting documents and evidence to ensure a fair and transparent resolution.
➔ Ethical Publishing Commitment
Authors submitting work to CRB affirm their contributions’ integrity, accuracy, and alignment with the journal’s publication standards. By submitting, authors agree to adhere to the ethical publishing policies of CRB.
