Plagiarism Policy
➔ Commitment to Originality
Current Research Bulletin (CRB) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic and publishing integrity. We strictly prohibit plagiarism in any form and consider it a serious breach of research ethics.
➔ Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism occurs when any portion of a manuscript is copied from an existing work — published or unpublished — without explicit attribution to the original author. This applies to text, ideas, data, images, or any other material.
➔ Types of Plagiarism
Full Plagiarism: Directly copying content (text, ideas, results) from a source without changes and presenting it as original.
Partial Plagiarism: Combining and extensively rephrasing content from multiple sources to mask its origin.
Self‑Plagiarism: Reusing substantial portions of an author’s prior work without acknowledgment. This includes submitting the same manuscript or fragments of it to different journals.
➔ CRB’s Plagiarism Check
All submitted manuscripts undergo a thorough review using advanced plagiarism detection tools. Papers found to contain plagiarism at the review stage will be immediately rejected and returned to the author.
If plagiarism is detected after publication, the Editor‑in‑Chief will initiate an investigation, potentially with the help of a dedicated Fact‑Finding Committee (FFC). Depending on the outcome, the following measures will be implemented:
➔ Actions Against Plagiarism
• The author(s) will be asked to provide an explanation within two weeks.
• If no satisfactory response is received, CRB will notify the author’s institution and associated authorities.
• The paper will be marked as Plagiarized Manuscript across CRB platforms.
• The plagiarized article will be retracted and replaced with a formal notice.
• The author(s) may be barred from submitting future work to CRB for a period of 3, 5, 10 years, or permanently, as deemed fit.
• CRB reserves the right to disclose details of the plagiarism and publicly list the authors’ names and affiliations.
• Additional penalties or recommendations may be made by the Editorial Board.
➔ Our Commitment to the Community
Current Research Bulletin (CRB) stands by its commitment to promoting original, credible, and ethical research. We expect authors, editors, and reviewers to adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity.
